I am the Digital Learning Coach for Bardstown City Schools in Bardstown, KY. I earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Middle Grades Mathematics from Western Kentucky University. While teaching middle school mathematics, I obtained a Master of Arts in Education with an emphasis in Instructional Technology from Western Kentucky University. After transitioning from the classroom to the Digital Learning Coach position, I obtained a Specialist in Education degree in Educational Leadership Studies from the University of Kentucky.
I currently work with classroom teachers to meaningfully integrate technology in the classroom to provide deeper learning experiences for students. My work centers on professional development, micro-credentialing, and creating systems to advance technology integration in schools.
I am a co-founder of Edcamp Kentucky, a former vice president for the Kentucky Council of Teachers of Mathematics, a member of the Kentucky Academic Standards for Computer Science writing team, and a professional development presenter at numerous state and regional conferences.
My areas of expertise include mathematics pedagogy, open educational resources, technology integration, professional development design and delivery, and leadership development.
